I love Pandora for many reasons, especially since they acquired Rdio and have now built that functionality into their product. I have tried and re-tried all of the major music services and still find myself searching for the right one to spend my money on. I’d say, hands down, that the combo of Pandora’s and Rdio’s algorithms is the best choice for balancing discovery and the songs you want to hear. There have been quirks with the full service offering and the app over the last couple years, but the biggest issue I still run into is how the app handles the transition of WiFi to Cell and vice versa. This is the only music service app that I’ve tried that fails to handle that transition well. If I move from my house to car, I get stoppage that can’t recover and it either skips to the next song in the queue or the app reboots itself, forcing me to take action to continue playing. Even if I’m not playing music and I just switch locations and pull up the app, it has a difficult time pulling up the song that I left off on last. Loading of the next song and keeping up with album covers seems to be an issue too at times, even with a strong connection. This is a bummer. Interface, music management, sound quality, and behavioral algorithm are all mostly great, and having browser access for premium are all pros... it’s just some of the little things such as this bug and a few past ones that keep it from being my go-to.

As I mentioned in a previous comment, this amazing app was being taken over by an evil glitch. Now that the glitch is fixed, everything is back to normal, i’m back to enjoying all my favorite songs, and discovering new ones. The app is still just as amazing without premium, which I never bothered to try, the app is amazing as it is. And now all that is back. Although there is one thing that I always forgot to mention in my two previous reviews, advertising. The advertisements are not a severe problem, just merely annoying more than anything, you just finished an amazing tune, and then an ad pops up trying to get you to go to Six Flags. I know you cannot remove these, they are necessary, I’m mostly writing this part as a warning to anybody who had the patience to read up to here ?. Although in the end, we all hate advertisements. ? Although I found a glitch in the new update, I am using Pandora on an iPad mini and when I turn off my device while using Pandora and turn it back on the lock-screen is stuck on “Burn by Ellie Goulding” it happened when I was listening to the song and had to leave my device for a moment, and now every time I use Pandora, this glitch happens. I don’t know if it is my device, or your app, thank you for reading my review.

I love this app so much! Pandora has allowed me to listen to all my favorite songs and find new ones to! It's also pretty cool because when I'm in the middle of house work the songs I want to listen just instantly come on! It's magic! (But of course, it's probably because I'm optimistic and positive about almost everything) I also love that new update and how my pandora app has this neat and cool design for it's logo. Five stars for the creativity! But there are some things that I do kinda mind.. the ads for one. Because when I'm listening to my piano music when a go to bed I hear ads come on and then my insomnia kicks in full force. I'm highly sensitive to changes of sounds. That's why I usually always stick with piano and rag time music. (And no I'm not a old) this also means that when I go to listen to some songs that are hard tuned like remixes and Nightcore I usually hear lots of profanity involved, I'm not a huge fan of inappropriate words. Could there be some sort of setting to fix that problem? It's because I personally have P.T.S.D and profanity is one of my triggers next to gore and violence. That's really all I have to say. But overall, it's my most treasured app! (Next to iMessages and camera) I'm an artist at heart so this app truly helps inspirational moods! Keep up the good work!
