Offer up is an excellent app. It’s very easy to use. It’s fun to use! Customer Service however— needs a little work as of December 2017. I had an issue with a paid for feature called “bumps” which put your items above other sellers ads so your items are seen first. It’s a really nice feature. I paid for two but only received one. So I sent an email to the address listed on the app. I didn’t get a reply, so about a week later I sent another email. I still didn’t get a reply. Then by chance while using the app, a question came on screen asking if I liked the app or something on those lines. I explained my situation regarding the issue and how there had been no reply. I asked to please have Customer Service contact me. Within a week or two the issue was fixed. It was frustrating to not find customer service contact info on the app (most apps have this) causing me to have to go search for it here where apps are sold. There’s a “frequently asked questions” area on the app, but no email address or contact form. It was also frustrating not getting a reply. About a week after the issue had been fixed, (they didn’t tell me, I just happened to find out) customer service finally contacted me. At that point I no longer needed help. It would be great if there was a contact form or email address on the app and getting a reply would be good as well. That aside, it’s a great app for buying and selling items. I found it very easy to use!

It’s always nice to see who you’re dealing with before you meet up with somebody it’s also especially nice when you don’t get emails in your inbox regarding somebody trying to pay you three times the amount of the item that you’re selling in which they don’t even know what you even have for sale let alone you don’t even have a face to expect to see at your door. It’s a crazy world online these days and you never know who you’re dealing with for the most part I’ve met some very good people on OfferUp and if you know your price before you meet somebody that’s always nice especially when it’s always a mystery on who you will come across. Another nice thing is the review process and the comment to process if the person is hard to deal with you can always throw them under the bus, Or if they are creepy or dangerous you can always report them or save somebody else the trouble or the trauma. I think I’ve been using OfferUp for about five years now or at least since they’ve came out I have met some pretty wild people but I’ve also met some longtime friends and build some pretty good relationships over time. Be safe and be aware! Daytime deals are the best deals, take a buddy It never hurts to be extra cautious even know the person looks harmless their drunk friends might want to haggle more than you have bargained for!

I wanted to take the time out to thank the crew and developers of offer up, I’d have to say it’s one of my favorite sites as far as sales from peer to peer reason being, offer up is the new one stop shop meaning you can find anything and everything you need at the best value offered .most importantly is the feeling of safety , I don’t know if anyone else feels this way but Craigs List is just a total scam now you can’t even post an ad without being replied by some far fetched ridiculous offer. Every time I post something lately on craigslist seems like I have someone responding back to me telling me they’re going to send me a lump sum of money that is out rages and all I need to do is send them back exit now and keep the rest it makes completely no sense and I don’t know who these people think they’re dealing with but Unfortunately there is some naïve people in the world that do get taken for their money , so that’s where offer up steps in ,I haven’t had one sketchy or phony situation yet and hopefully never will , I should probably not say never , knock on wood... I would definitely recommend this site to anyone who’s trying to sell an item or buy an item or just curiously shopping you never know what you might find on there... I wanted to send the upmost gratitude once again to offer up crew staff makes it and keeps it running smoothly and successfully.... happy holidays offer up...
